Logo Design Ideas

Initially, I had ideas in my head as to what type of logo I wanted to have for my brand. I decided to go for a name brand for my brand logo to simply display the name of the brand. The inspiration comes from companies such as Bethesda and Konami where they use word based logos inside of a shape. 

At first I tried fitting the name inside of a triangle but felt it wasn't the right shape so I therefore used a rectangle with another line added for a unique shape. Being complete with bright colour to stand out. I have also remade the logo in black and white to show experiments of it being able to be photocopied or mass printed. 

The name was an original idea of mine where I adapted the word ‘generation’ which gives the idea of a new generation. I have altered the word to be ‘J-Neration’ which makes the word sound the same but can be seen in a different way. 

The ‘J’ can be representative of the first letter of the founder of the name idea or as my game idea is based off of the anime art style, I can use the letter ‘J’ to represent Japan, being that Anime is a Japanese art style. I also take inspiration from name-based logos such as Bethesda’s and Namco.
